definitely does not heat up in 30sec more like 2.5min also it doesn't continually steam you have to pump the handle up and down for water to saturate the pad which is heated and then produces steam but even then not much steam is produced and did not effectively clean the area. I ended up dragging the old twist mop and bucket of bleach water out to finish the job. I guess if you absolutely had no other opition this would work but a trip to the dollar store for a cheap mop and some bleach would work better.

AMAZING! Easy to use, lightweight, easily pivots position. So easy, that an older, short woman as myself can use. my boyfriend got stuck steam cleaning my floors and now it's so easy that I might get him to do it even more frequently! His mop broke and so he instantly had me order one for him also. if my 100-year-old mom had tile that she had to clean, I would have gotten her one also

This is a well made mop. I have bought Shark brand many times. A brand I trust this mop is no exception. Between the dogs and grandkids it gets used almost daily. Water tank is big enough I only fill once. Puts out a lot of steam and cleans good. Refill pads are easy to find and washable.

I had a fancy electric rotating head type mop before and switched because that motor gave out after only two years and I couldn't see spending hundreds of dollars on another one.. but this steam mop is a game changer! So simple, inexpensive and my floors have never been cleaner!!!

This is a very light steamer…which I wanted. Have one that was to heavy and bulky. Now I needed it for small tile areas and it is fine for those. The water cup is ok for small amount. Now as for the steam you have to pump the handle to release the steam,great for small areas but might be tiresome for a big floor area. So if your looking for light weight,and medium amount of steam this will work fine. I like not having to use chemical,the pad works well at picking up the dirt. Would suggest ordering extra pad. I would recommend this for light floor cleaning in small to medium areas.
