It barely cleans hard floors I know it's not going to work on then carpet and I have very thin carpet I'm not even going to try because it barely cleaned the hardwood floor and I cannot take the handle off that attaches to the vacuum cleaner in order to return it so it will be sticking out of the box

Sadly, disappointed in this item. I usually really like Shark products, but this one was a flop. It didn't really mop, I would call it lightly wetting and wiping up. If you are using this to clean your floor, you would need to go over the same spot over and over, or spray the floor down first to wet and loosen up any dirt. The self-cleaning part was nice, I will give it that. I plan on returning this product.

It vacuums and mops at the same time, which saves me a ton of time. Picks up hair and dirt really well, and the floors actually look clean after. Super easy to use and not too heavy. The self-cleaning feature is a nice touch too. Overall, really happy with it

- super easy to use. Press a button, fill it up, go. -cleans really well. -has a self cleaning option when you're done BUT! Still have to get in there yourself for any hair it has collected. -does best with Shark's cleaning solution, kinda pricey but lasts a good while. -dirty container is hard to clean out if it's left too long.

Do yourself a favor and get this!!!

I had bought a very pricey machine that did not work the very first time I tried to use it. Third world country customer service. Sent it back to Amazon and bought this machine. It works perfectly every time and my floors are so clean. I have three cats and trust me, they can make a mess but its no match for my Shark!!!! 10 out of 10 would purchase and recommend!!!! IF IT CAN PICK UP HAIRBALLS WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT, IT CAN TACKLE ANYTHING!
